The idea of having a domain was the coolest thing ever. I had my little rainbowy Tripod site, and put up all my writing (fanfiction and fantasy novels and very, very deep poetry like only a high school girl can write) and showed it all off to the world. I begged, pleaded, and cajoled until my parents got me a hosting package and domain name for my birthday. It was pure glee!

That was nine years ago. That is an eternity in internet years. Heck, Geocities is now getting shut down — it’s a whole new world of blogging and social networking. Trust me, I know. I have a twitter. The whole idea of a personal website has fallen a bit by the wayside, and this place is no exception.

There’s still plenty around here, if you poke around. But, sad as I am to say this, this isn’t my focus anymore. The projects archived here are just that: archives. But hey, this domain always has and always will mean a lot to me. Through this domain, I learned web design, and writing. And now I’m a web producer and a writer.

So do feel free to poke around and have fun with what’s still here. The rainbow remnants of a website from 2000.
