Fantasy Dolls

Aran Sevens I did this just to get the tutorial done, and so I rushed it; as a result, she's pretty sloppy. Well, as a result of that, and the fact that I tool shaded her, but didn't really know what I was doing. |
Breena Mystarin I just felt like doing a flowy dress, so I remade Breena. It didn't turn out spectacularly, but it has more dithering in it than I've ever done before. And I like her hair. |
Kara das'Abbyn The character is an escaped serf who ran off to lead a revolution. Her hair didn't turn out so well, but otherwise, I was very pleased with her at the time. |
I did Kaleal for a doll-a-Goddess contest, and I still like her quite a bit. This was the first time I ever tried dithering, that I recall, and I was really ding my best to experiment with folds and the details around the dress. I'm still very proud of her, actually. |
Ilyan Kelanister Ilyan was entirely tool shaded, the largest doll I've done, and he took me forever. I love how he turned out, though I know he's not perfect. |
Serissa Aleann I was experimenting with tool shading, based on a tutorial. It turned out okay, though not great. Her hair is wonky, too. |
Kalin Malistar Kalin is a slave boy, so I wanted his outfit to be ripped up and dirty. It was probably the most complicated thing I'd tried at the time, and it turned out better than I expected (though not as well as I'd hoped). I love his hair, though. |
Jean Her dress is based off of Jean's in The Court Jester. I almost gave up on her and am glad I didn't; there are some mistakes in the skirt, and the gold rope looks weird, but I love the bodice of her dress and the jewel. Don't ask me what's up with her hair, though. Urg. |
Islana Ylanna I saw the base and it screamed Islana to me. I worked really hard on this one, and think it's not bad...for a beginner. |
Not much to say about him. He's cute. |
Islana Ylanna One of a bunch of dolls which now doesn't seem at all remarkable, but at the time, I was very proud of. |
Analla Sundancer I'm still very fond of this doll, though I know she's odd, and it's obvious I didn't know how to shade at all yet. (Not that I'm a genius at it now.) It looks strange that she's pixel shaded and her wings are tool shaded, but that was the only way I could do them. |
Breena Mystarin Ahahahaha, my very first doll. What can I say? |
