After many months, I finally updated the "Posting on FFnet" section so it's up-to-date with the current FFnet menus.

New stuff under "miscellaneous": I've started hosting regular discussions with the group One Voice, and all responses will be archive here. Number one is up!

7.03.06: So many new things! This is the major update I've had in the works for awhile.
To begin with, I reorganized the site a bit. What was the style section is now miscellaneous; what was the random section is now site. Though that doesn't make much of a difference to anyone but me, it does make things around here a bit more organized, and once again, makes it easier to add in additional sections.
Speaking of which, there are a few overall new additions. In the miscellaneous section, two new pieces: one on the controversy over how often to use the word, "said,"; and one about location, and the physical layout of New York City. Then, under the posting online section, there's a new article about how to beta read.
I've done a bunch of other things, too. I reorganized and updated the links list, fixed a bunch of mistakes that had been bugging me, and overall cleaned the place up.

2.13.06: I've completely and totally redone the section on original characters! It's now about four times longer than it was, and contains a lot of new information and discussion about OCs. Hopefully, more updates on the way in the next couple of weeks as well.

7.10.05: Oh boy, I finally did it! I added in an entire new section: style. It's quite short so far, but I have much more planned for it. I really wanted to get it up, though. The section on purple prose is my favorite.

6.22.05: I've done more corrections, and have added some new information in the basics section, covering new tricky word (effect/affect), and the proper use of 's in possession with regards to plurals. I also ipdated the section on posting fics to FFnet to take into account their new organizational methods.

6.15.05: I've gone through the whole guide and made basic corrections, words which were misspelled, etc. I updated the links page, and re-did the recs page (albeit on another website). I also added a couple random things; nothing too big, except for a list of pros and cons to each point of view on the page about perspective.

With any luck, more will be coming soon. FFnet has recently changed the way one goes about uploading and creating stories, so as soon as I have something to upload myself I'll update that section of the guide to match. I also have some new ideas to put in here somewhere, if I can get them organized.

10.12.04: Woohoo, I redesigned the page! It's still not that pretty, and I still have no graphic skills, but this makes it much easier to add in new sections and updates. I generally hate frames, but it seems like it works well for this site.
Meanwhile, I've also updated the glossary; it's been alphabetized, and I added a glossary of pairing names, since they've become fairly common. I also updated the "how to post on FFnet" section to include FFnet's new .doc support. Finally, the recommendations page is currently down, as I'm revamping it.

3.21.04: Not much, just updated the links page to finally put up a banner with the new URL and update the links list.

2.22.04: Several things. Most importantly, there's a new essay up, about alterate universe fics. YAY for new actual content! I also went through and fixed up what I hope are the last of the broken links and changed a few mistakes and awkwardly worded bits.

1.5.04: Nothing new, really; I just went through and fixed a few broken images and links and cleaned up a few things. But at least you know the site isn't dead.

11.15.03: Because Tripod sucks and I had nothing else to do, I got off my lazy bum and moved the site to my domain. It's now part of my overarching Newsies collective, Nobody Told The Horse. Woo! So things may be a bit awkward for awhile, since I think I missed a few links. If something isn't working, let me know

7.17.03: Added two more tricky words to the tricky words section under basics.

7.16.03: Added a short bit to the end of the punctuation section, explaining the plural form of words.

6.17.03: Added a short piece about songfics and what not to do with them under plotting.

5.19.03 : Added a piece by Shade under "other." Hopefully, I'll have up a page about submission guidelines soon, should anyone else want to contribute. In the meantime, if you've got something you want to share with the world via FF101, email me and we'll talk.

4.22.03 : Most of the site is up. Changed the title bar to say what each subpage is, because I'm obsessive-compulsive. My goal is to have up a "coming soon" page for everything that isn't already done by tonight, so I can get this place officially open... Maybe grand opening tomorrow or the day after. Hopefully before finals begin, anyway.
