Sketches
These are just doodles (mostly in my notes from freshman year of college, actually) that never got finished, or that were finished later but I saved the scanned sketch. Some are better than others; a lot are spoilers for various points in the story. A lot are also really bad.
They were all originally posted in Haven, by the way. New ones are occasionally as well.
Angel of Mercy, chibified. I know this was done freshman year because of the hebrew label underneath. Three years later, I barely read Hebrew. But it says, I believe, Slenna Malistar. 'Cause that's who she is.
Angel of Sacrifice, chibified. Ilyan Kelansiter. Duh.
Angel of Freedom, chibified as well; the founder of the Kelanister dynasty. Isn't he just adorable?
Angel of Peace, chibified. Kalin Malistar, naturally. Something about the Malistar and Kelanister families...
Angel of Peace again, this time not so chibified. Except his wings. Because I can't draw wings. But doesn't he look deliciously angsty?
Cleran. This one did, in fact, get cleaned up and colored and is now the main page layout. But I actually really like the sketch version. And I hate coloring black on black a whole lot.
Cleran headshot, drawn in journalism class freshman year. I don't know why I remember that so clearly.
Cleran with his vest (gasp!) shut. This is much more recent, and much more crappy. Blaaaaaah.
Islana is insane. I got a little carried away. (My International Relations notes freshman year.)
Ilyan sitting. This one did get colored, which is almot a shame, because I think the sketch is better.
Islan, Angel of Freedom again. He's kind of... puffy.

Islana or the Terminator? You be the judge. I really like her standard princess dress, actually; it's just that in return for ffinally being able to draw bodies (sort of), I've lost the ability to draw faces. I think this was done last summer.

Islana running, done a few months ago. I really liked this one, and ended up computer coloring it, despite not inking it at all. I couldn't so much, as I had spilled Kool-aid on the original. I'm just that cool.

Kelanisters for three generations. Erra is just bad; Galiera is suitably angsty and tortured looking, and I like the Ilyan headshot a lot.
Kieris Alayrin. Not only do I not like writing him, I also can't draw him!
Kalin, priesthood era, meditating. Face is cute; body is off. It seems I can't do both at once.
Jall, Kalin and Erra, shortly after the end of season one. Jall didn't turn out so well, but I looove Kalin and Erra in this.
The cast of season two, utterly unfinished. I've never attempted a giant group picture before, so in that respect it's not so bad; I like the basic framework for some of the characters moreso than others. Islana turned out quite well, once I erased my (quite pathetic) attempt at her facial features. L to R, that would be Jereh (stick figure), Jall (pipe man), Erra, Islana, Cleran, Dysis and Tiernan (stick figure).
Islana in her Princess dress, doodled while I was at work. I hadn't so much as attempted to draw in well over a year, so with that in mind, this was quite lovely. Of course, Islana would never look so demure, but still.
