(for the pause between stories four and five. not that five is up yet. contains slight spoilers for the next billion, unwritten upcoming chapters. sort of.)
"By the way, that stuff you sent me recently? Damn funny."
"Thanks. I don't know, usually I worry about the stuff I write, but this stuff? Cracks me up."
"Milk. Indeed. Milk!"
"You love milk."
"I do... So... It's been a year. And I sort of forget what was going to happen in these stories."
"A year? Heh. Remember when you wrote that apology and said 'Becky is much better with these things'?"
"Yes. Damn you."
"Yeah. A year now. Wow. So... I think I have the plot written out somewhere. Want me to look for it?"
"Please."
"Ok, hang on."
"A year?"
"A year. Ok, here we are. Um... Okay, according to this, in this chapter um, there's the Mayor, and there's LolRock, and I think Jasper gets Lisa in trouble, and then the next chapter is the musical and the second contest, and then... Well, that's odd."
"What's odd?"
"The next chapter is... I don't know. Good and evil and then there's something about... Well, all I can remember is something about a yearbook and some photos and good and evil and then I think there was going to be a ghost."
"A ghost? Dude, I don't remember a ghost."
"Well, apparently there was going to be a ghost."
"Are you sure?"
"Pretty sure."
"Why was there going to be a ghost?"
"See, if I knew that, I'd probably remember why we were going to have a ghost at all."
"I think I remember you talking about a ghost... So, are we going to have a ghost?"
"Er. No. I don't think so anymore."
"You know, if it takes a year between these stories, perhaps we should simplify."
"Right, so there's the musical, and then there's the ghost which will explain to them about good and evil and then there's Mr. Dylan who is good, and then... they find out the LolRock backstory doesn't add up"
"LolRock has BACKSTORY????"
".....Yeah. And then the Mayor is going to buy the school. For some reason. And I don't know why. And Mr. Dylan wants to stop him, and... Mr. Dylan can't GO TO A PROTEST CONCERT? What? What?!? These are the most cryptic notes ever!"
"Hey, I had a thought; is Sloan going to be in this story? I mean, Chris is. I mean, Chester."
"Well, all the buildings are named after Sloan. And Matt Murphy is there somewhere."
"But what about Andrew and Jay and Patrick?"
"I have no idea."
"Ok, here's a thought; we could just keep adding people, until we have a cast of thousands, and they can just run around and set things on fire."
"Heee!"
"You know what else I liked about what you sent me? It had a really good scene ending."
"I don't know what's wrong with laddage; I don't have trouble ending scenes in other stories."
"Right, but in laddage we both tend to end every scene with 'Oh, look, you made the scene end. The end.' Really, I bet if you counted it up, it'd be like 50 percent of all scenes end with someone saying 'and now the scene ends.' Especially Cal."
"You say that like it's a bad thing."
"Well, I mean... Hey, at what point during your master plan was Blur going to show up?"
"... Shut up. How about we just do it like Good, which is the Lads, vs. Evil, which is LolRock, and then good wins?"
"Right, and at the end, two of the LolRock girls can be redeemed, and Jolene can still be evil!"
"But she's Eric's love interest."
"She is?"
"I mean, they hate each other a lot."
"Right, but... Eric is evil, too."
"I know! They can be evil together! It's a perfect ending!!!! ...Maybe?"
"Ok, well, we'll think about that. You need to write an apology, though, dude."
"Er, I know. Should I mention we have no idea what's going to happen next?"
"No, let's not."
"...K. Rachel? Are you actually writing this down?"
"Yes. It's very meta."
