Jasper Tulsi is a new student at DSA, who transferred in near the beginning of his junior year. He loves the spotlight and loves being the center of attention. A lot. He's perpetually hyper and his life seems to be a giant quest to find his next cup of coffee. Jasper is incredibly liberal and very political, and underneath his flakey-but-cute exterior is a very intelligent mind.

Felix Ashkay is in his third year at DSA. He's a pretty normal guy, by far the most normal of the lads. He's also the calmest and the most level-headed, as well as quietest. At almost any given time at school, Felix can be found skipping class to play his bass. Above all else, Felix is fundamentally cool. (People credit this partially to his funky brown shirts.)

Calvin Ledbetter is a senior at DSA. He's a hippie idealist, and a musical genius. (He can pick up any instrument and learn to play it in five minutes flat.) Everybody at DSA knows Cal because he's willing to accompany anyone on any instrument, and he's awfully darned nice. He'd probably be part of the popular crowd, except people find him to be a bit strange - he's in the habit of speaking directly to the reader, and would like to say that you need a haircut.

Eric Donnely is, in a word, scary. He's a genius with an off the scale IQ, and he's almost unbelievably rich (his family owns the school.) However, he's a conspiracy nut and is convinced that the government is out to get him, so he takes steps to protect himself from His Enemies. These steps always involve intricate plans and they usually end badly, with an explosion of some sort. (Eric loves to blow things up.) Most people think of him as completely insane and avoid him whenever possible.

Lisa Donnely is Eric's little sister. She's a bit strange (she DID grow up with Eric) but no where near as crazy as her brother. Her major damage is an obsessive crush on Jasper, and she's taken to stalking him. Lisa has her own group of friends and is much more popular than her brother.

Jolene Halifax is a rich local girl, who has gone to school with Eric since about first grade. Their rivalry dates back years, and no one even remembers how it started. She's the leader of the LolRock trio.
|
 |
Greta Stein is a neveau-rich senior at DSA. She's a hippie-chick turned Republican, and the subject of Cal's obsession. (They dated for two weeks, three years ago.) She's the only girl in LolRock with any talent.
|
 |
Genevieve Atwood is a junior at DSA, the youngest girl in the LolRock trio. To put it tactfully, she's "very friendly" with just about any boy at DSA. She and Felix went on a few dates, but things between them ended badly.
|
 | Gabby (last name unknown and unimportant) is the lead singer for a rival band, the Sugar Squirrels. She (much to Felix's disapointment) doesn't go to DSA. |

Bo "The Rock" Kentun is a big, dumb guy. He hates the lads with a passion, and his life goal seems to be to beat up Jasper. He sings badly and has the lead in the musical, a position he abuses shamelessly to torment Jasper.

Tricia Nara is a flake to the core. She hangs out with LolRock and has picked up their dislike of the lads, except for Jasper--she has a crush on him. Needless to say, she and Lisa hate each other.

Chester McMurphy is the managing editor of DSA's yearbook. He's never without his camera and is constantly taking candid shots. He thinks of himself as a ladykiller, but generally speaking, girls all avoid him and his mullet.
