Updates, Year 8

Holy crap, when did this thing turn eight?! Ah, well. Such a non-event now I don't even remember. Anyway, there's updates all over the place at Nobody Told the Horse.

Updates, Year 7

April 29, 2007
Updates to Nobody Told the Horse in Smokers and FF101. (I think I'm going to attempt to begin posting here again whenever a subsite updates. So it'll be clear this site isn't dead.)

April 22, 2007
Yeah, updating every few months, that's more like it. I've been saving up, actually. So.
Updated: Nobody Told the Horse gets semi-regular updates of fics and whatnot; tonight it's an update to FF101. Cool stuff; check it out.
Moved stuff: Adventures in Lame is on Blogspot now; I don't have a lot of time in which to update it, but there you go.
New hostee! One Voice United, a new archive for Newsies fanfic. Someday, the rest of the One Voice site might be up there. Maybe.
Completely new! Active Voice, a blog for reviewing YA genre novels, co-run with my excellent friend Jess. Truly cool stuff, yo.

January 8, 2006
Happy New Year, y'all. Update: a new Newsies fic (one shot) in Underage Smokers, done for the secret slash exchange.

December 16, 2006
Hey, an update! There's a new chapter of How I Spent My Summer Vacation, and new art. Neato!
Oh, and, like, a new layout and stuff.

December 8, 2006
Well, there goes that roll. Anyhoo. I cleaned up a bunch of stuff in Nobody Told The Horse, though it wasn't anything too substantial. I added a new piece to Kalin100 and some new sketches to the unfinished gallery in the Saga. I fixed a link in the fanlistings.

October 1, 2006
A brief update at the doll site. Not the one I was referring to, but working towards it.

September 26, 2006
Only litle bits and pieces. There's a new short piece of Kalin100. At Nobody Told the Horse, I updated the fic recommendation list, and fixed links to some of the Blink Week fics. I'm almost done judging.
I updated Adventures in Lame as well; I'm debating updating it semi-regularly again, but I'm sure you've heard that before...
Coming soon: well, soon is always a relative term; but anyway, I should be done judging Blink Week within a few days, so there'll be that, and I'm working slowly on some interesting stuff at the doll site. Further down the line is the next chapter of the Saga.

August 1, 2006
I'm doing so well at being productive. Maybe if I actually remember to update this main page whenever I update one of subsites... Today, it's the Saga, with two new short pieces for my Kalin100 project.
FYI, I'm going to be out of town for a few weeks, so this is the last update for awhile. We'll see how this happens when I get back.

July 30, 2006
Holy shit, two updates in two days! Anyway, all I did was add a whole bunch of fanlistings.

July 29, 2006
Wow, two updates in a month?! Did you know I could do that?!
Anyway. Obviously, I have a new layout. It didn't turn out the way I wanted, but it did turn out pretty well. In honor of my move to New York, well, there you go.
I also redesigned the doll site.

July 15, 2006
This time, there's an update that actually updates things, not just shuts them down! My god. Specifically, the Saga is updated. There's a new episode and fanart picture in season two; a new project for short pieces begun in shorts; a new section on culture up in, well, culture. Also a Saga-specific mailing list to replace the old, generic one. I might create specific mailing lists for other parts of the site, too. I'm wacky like that.

I also have a new hostee from the Newsies fandom, LD's fabulous site, No. 9 Duane Street.

June 30, 2006
I know, I know; not even a new layout in over a year. This is a vanity domain, more and more; that's okay with me. Obviously, some projects have fallen by the wayside. It happens. Nobody Told the Horse is still updated regularly, and The Saga will definitely continue, as rare as updates are. Anyway.

Things I'm closing: the mailing list, and Gotham Knights. The mailing list because it seems silly, when I don't update and there are less than ten subscribers. I'll mention in my LJ whenever I update, and I think most people who care read that. Gotham Knights, on the other hand, is gone due to a combination of neglect (a small part - I don't mind leaving up static sites) and bandwidth theft (the major one; almost every image was hotlinked multiple times). Alas.

That said, I do have one new opening. I'm now hosting my fabulous friend, Poison Ivory. Her website isn't entirely up yet, and won't be for quite awhile, as she's in England for July. But you can check out what's there: Tickety Boo

I'm still working on updating the Saga. Someday. Maybe soon. We'll see.

Updates, Year 6

Well, I usually start a new updates page, but there weren't a whole lot of updates of substance this last year so it seems kind of silly. But anyway, there are now! No new redesign like there usually is for the site birthday, but I'm fairly attached to my Derek layout.

Anyhoo. Big updates: The Saga has a new episode, two new drabbles, and a bunch of pixel dolls.

Yes, pixel dolls. I've become a little obsessed with them, and consiquently, I now have a whole new subsite here: Desert Island Dolls.

I've also cleaned up the old guestbook and brought it back from the dead. So you should feel free to sign it.

Okay, it seemed a lot more substantial as I was putting it together than when I was typing it up. Whatever.

Updates, Year 5

June 11, '04
One update I missed was that I totally redesigned my Newsies website. A bunch of stuff there is new or redesigned or both, but I just updated it again with new drabbles and a fic I'd forgotten.
Secondly, the Saga has a new image and a drabble posted. I'm working on the next chapter, finally, sorry for the delay.
Also, Adventures in Lame! now exists.

(For the record, I meant to have this up for the third, but it didn't quite happen. Oops.)
First off, my computer died a few months ago and I lost an entire chapter of the Saga, or else that would have been updated by now. Sigh. Hopefully, some time I'll have time to rewrite it, but I'm currently facing graduating and seeking a job, and... well.
Speaking of: you realize, of course, that this site was a graduation present for my birthday, before twelth grade started. I'm now facing graduation from college, and that's a pretty long life for a website. I've been unhappy with the site for awhile: it struck me as full of dead projects, immature, and a reflection of me in twelth grade and not in college. This update, while on the surface just a change of layout, is my solution.
The site has grown up some. It's now split into its most important sections, writing and not-writing, and if you look around and see something is gone... Well, it's gone. Not necessarly offline (The Lads, for instance, was not taken down; its merely no longer linked) but static and I have no further plans to update it. What remains, I hope to be able to update and revamp as needed.
Also, as a side note, it's the first layout to not feature one of my own characters. It does, however, feature Derek Jeter, ad I'm putting it up today in honor of starting new--like the Yankees after that godawful crushing defeat last October. Enjoy.

December 27, '04
Oh, wow, only five months between updates. I'm getting better. Oh, how I long for the days of high school when I was able to update every other week. Anyway. Major updates to the Saga: two new images, a new episode, and a new layout. I now have Photoshop CS. Ph33r me.

August 20
Go me, I actually updated the Saga! As promised, the whole site is now shiny CSS and looks much cleaner; more importantly, there's a new episode up, and I redid all of the profiles for both seasons. Oh yeah. Productivity is good.

July 1
New layout to celebrate the site's birthday (a bit later). In the works we have a few layout overhauls, which may or may not be noticable, as it'll mostly just be putting things into CSS so I can change layouts more easily. Exciting, huh?
