I have tickets to see N.E.R.D. and the Black Eyed Peas in Boston next month. And Justin? Feel free to be there, baby. What else are you doing right now, really?

The Weezer DVD is out. Bring on the rock!
Seriously, this DVD is a must buy just to see Rivers' hair in the Sweater Song. Remember the perfectly circular bowl cut? If you answered "yes," you know you want to see it again. If you said "What the hell??!!" then you must rush out and buy this immediately.
He looks just like Damon from Blur in the video for "She's So High."

Well, that's one way to deal with the Gibson movie. I gotta say, I approve.

I think, unless there's a Lost Episode, I've seen all of Soap. I mean every single episode of both seasons. My favorite part is when Billy Crystal gets a sex change. No no, when the dad from Blossom pretends to be a rabbi 'cause he's on the run from the mob. No no no, when the dad from Empty Nest thinks he's invisible if he snaps, and he sits in the bathtub.
I'm totally lying. My favorite thing is COMPLETELY the way the butler (Isaac from Sports Night) would wait until the doorbell rang, and there would be this pause, and then he'd go "You want me to get that?" and Jessica would say "If you don't mind." Every fucking time. Awesome.
Anyway, there was also a ventriloquist. And while I don't remember if that was Chuck pretending to be Bob, or the other way around, the dummy had the best lines on the show. Brilliant. Apparently they're both going to be in a show soon. Cool.

E! finally gives me a reason to watch: The *N Sync True Hollywood Story, March 28th, 9 PM. Featuring the boys' mothers talking about them.
In uttery, utterly unrelated news, it's been suggested that Rivers Cuomo's lyrics should be, "more personal and less ironic.".

Cool article on the specific problems inherent in turning comic books to movies. Although, I should probably let Becky comment on it, since she's much more a comic buff than I. (Psst! They talk about Alan Moore a lot!)
"Just remember: for every BATMAN, there's a DAREDEVIL. For every X-MEN, there's a SUPERGIRL. We've got SPIDER-MAN 2, HELLBOY, and THE PUNISHER coming upon us with extreme quickness, with movies such as Y: THE LAST MAN, CATWOMAN, and SWORD OF DRACULA soon to follow. While we can only hope that the future will bring us some more comic book movies that shine, we must be prepared for the possibility that we're just as likely to get another batch that suck."
