Revenge of the Asshat

Apparently, Episode Three is it, and there will be none of the fabled Star Wars Seven Through Nine. Which comes as something of a relief to those of us who really wish we could rescue the poor SW franchise from Lucas himself.

"My company, we sort of pioneered special effects," Lucas said. ... "We've been pushing digital techniques and that sort of thing ever since, and we helped populate the special-effects industry as it is today. A lot of supervisors at all the other special-effects companies are from my lab. We even helped set up WETA in New Zealand [for LotR], and have supported them with advice and that sort of thing."

Right. And maybe if instead of special effects, you'd put more effort into writing dialogue that didn't suck, Anakin could have the story arch he was meant to have instead of the crap you gave him.

Not that I'm bitter.

And don't even get me started on the bad idea that is Indiana Jones 4.

Making my ears bleed

This just in: Heather Graham sucks.

Shocking, I know.

She sucked so hard on Twin Peaks that she singlehandedly destroyed the second season. (Okay, not single handedly, but still.) She sucked in Austin Powers 2. And currently? She's sucking THIS HARD on Scrubs.

She can't deliver lines. She's completely incapable of delivering jokes. And she's not hot enough to justify the fact that people keep employing her!

Won't anyone think of the children????
