Holy shit, people. Not four hours ago I posted that NewsRadio is coming out on my birthday, and now it's happened AGAIN. Check this out: waaaay back in what, October, I posted about how Ben Browder and Michael Shanks could almost be the same guy. And that Claudia Black -- also of Farscape fame -- is going to guest star on SG-1.
And now they've just announced Ben Browder is going to be a series regular on SG-1 next season.
Okay, this is getting ridiculous. I'm going to start concentrating really, really hard on getting Veronica Mars' ratings up so it can have a second season, getting Rob Lowe a new series that doesn't suck, and on getting myself a spot on What Not To Wear. I'm expecting a phone call from Stacy and Clinton any second now.

Okay, someone out there clearly knows me, and has been stalking me, because there is a RELEASE DATE for NewsRadio on DVD, and do you know what day it is?
My fucking birthday.
No, I'm not kidding. NewsRadio, my favorite of favorite shows, is finally being released on DVD (for real this time! ... maybe. I'm like Charlie Brown with the football over here.) ON MY BIRTHDAY.
Dear Phil Hartman: I love you, too.
(Dear Dave Foley: What is up with your hair? And all the drinking? I love Celebrity Poker Showdown as much as the next girl, but dude, you're losing it.)

Pedro is a Met!
Now, what was Jeff saying about how the Mets pick up big stars past their prime?

Stupid blogger. I just wrote out the whole post and it got deleted, and that's discouraging, given this is the first time I've posted in, uh... A really long time.
Anyhoo, JC Chasez (formerly a frequent popblog subject,) has gotten his pop disco tunes back in the public eye after losing the former boyband battle to the death with Justin, the flop of his debut solo album, and an unfortunate stint as a mime in A Clockwork Orange. The sparkly disco pop tune Shining Star is being used for one of the new Gap ads, and if you can get past Sarah Jessica Parker, you'll see our boy is looking good, and still dancing like he's in a boyband.
And they gave him a fedora.
